Its been quite an interesting exercise in making the new website, and as a part of that go through almost two decades of projects. I must confess (with appropriate humbleness) that most of the designs has aged surprisingly well, even though some of them are 10-15 years old. The reason for this is really simple. When you invest in design, doing the deep work necessary, it will most probably age gracefully, and become the opposite of a product based on a trend, a fad or what the competitors are doing, that basically will be d.o.a. Taking your time doing the job properly is the way to go for product longevity. It makes sense for the environment as well as the bottom line.
