Berg Propulsion needed to update their existing operator panel. It had too many buttons and overlapping functions. The panel had a mix of standard components that resulted in a anonymous expression. It also used outdated technology and was complicated to use for the operator.
The new product has top modern technology with a distinct identity. Only relevant information is visible at any one time to simplify the work for the user. With a minimal amount of physical buttons and a comprehensive graphic menu system operated by a jog wheel, this product has revolutionised its market.
The Control Panel won the red dot best of the best in 2009.
