Hareide Design was approached to be part of the design team put together to define the entire Cisco TelePresence product rage. This included redefinition of product identity and design of the endpoints MX700 and MX800.

In collaboration with Work and the Cisco design and engineering team we designed the Cisco`s performance line, MX700 and MX800 for medium to large meeting rooms. The aim was to improve usability, create a more approachable aesthetics and reduce instalment time. The project ran in parallel with new development on the graphical interface, giving the new product a greatly improved experience. We were involved from conceptualisation through engineering to production. The product was designed to fit modern office spaces and reduce perceived complexity, introducing a softer more inviting design with high quality details and tactile surfaces. The MX800 features a single 70 inch screen, custom built-in amplifier and speaker system for ultimate high fidelity sound and choice of single or intelligent dual-camera speaker-tracking solution for voice tracking. MX700 features dual 55 inch screens, custom built-in amplifier and speaker system for ultimate high fidelity sound and choice of single intelligent dual-camera speaker-tracking solution for voice tracking. The dual screen allows you to see people+presentation or, people+people .

The systems has received the Red Dot Design Award.
