Hareide Design has designed a number of input devices for Rolls-Royce Marine, ranging from joystick for dynamic positioning to azimuth, winch and thruster handles. The design development has been done in close cooperation with the users for maximising the ergonomic function while at the same time crating a strong Rolls-Royce design identity.
This work resulted in a design manual guiding further design work at Rolls-Royce.
